Kat Svraka had a soft spot for Pitbulls. When she was younger, she begged her parents to let her adopt one.
New best friend
She went to their local animal shelter to see if there were any Pitbulls that she could adopt. She saw a bunch of adorable puppies, but one small pitbull caught her attention.
The puppy she saw and soon named Mochawas rescued when he was only eleven weeks old. She instantly knew she had to adopt him.
Her parents were on the fence about letting her adopt a dog. When they first saw Mocha, they instantly fell in love with him.
Forever home
Kat thought that Mocha looked like a bean when she brought him home. Everyone agreed that the name Mocha would suit him.
Mocha was shy at first. It took him a few weeks before he acted like the sweetest and goofiest little puppy.
Everybody found Mocha so adorable because his bottom lip didn’t start showing until after a few months. When it did, all you could see where his cute little teeth that were sticking out.
No one thought he would have such a pouty face. His pout was one of Kat’s favorite things about him.
Mocha used his pout to his advantage since he knew once he looks up at his parents, they couldn’t say no to him.
Bath time was the only time Mocha’s pouty face did not work on Kat. Instead, he got dramatic and started to cry as a way of saying “No, I do not like this”
Mocha grew fond of Kat’s boyfriend, and they even formed a bond. He would always try to get their attention, which made the couple love him even more.
Mocha always had to carry around his favorite stuffed toys. He would pick up the toy nearest to him and give it to Kat and her boyfriend as a gift.
His favorite stuffed toy t would be the gray bunny and a humongous turkey leg. Everyone loved it when Mocha would walk around carrying his toys.
Kat and her boyfriend loved to go out and dress Mocha up in pajamas. A lot of people would smile at them, and some would even compliment Mocha’s outfits.
It was important for Kat to show people that Pitbulls can be loving and sweet too. It showed that their breed is not scary at all.
