Chase’s beautiful eyes
According to Brittany Uniacke, Chase’s owner, the dog had a condition called complete heterochromia. This caused the eyes of the dog to have two different colors. Chase’s right eye was brown while his left eye was blue. Apparently, this eye condition is common among Australian Shepherds.
Many people asked Brittany if Chase was blind in his blue eye. Thankfully, Chase wasn’t; he could see just fine with his both eyes. Others, however, asked if the dog was deaf. But Brittany explained that Chase could hear properly.

Talking about Chase’s first meeting with the family, Brittany said that her kids had no idea that they were getting a dog. When the kids saw the dog, the kids squealed with joy and delight. She said that it was the best surprise ever.
