Reema is a true wanderlust. The Golden Retriever loves to go on different adventures and visit various places.
Her owner, Suzanne Clark, and her husband met her during one of their travels and fell in love with her. Since then, they adopted her and brought her to so many places.
The adventurous dog has gone to Spain, Portugal, and Belgium. But one of his favorite destinations is the beach in their home in Bridlington. It’s around two miles away from their house, and she usually walks there with Suzanne.
But now, Reema is in her advanced age, and she is not as vibrant as she used to be. A back injury compounded her problems and it makes it difficult for her to move.
A happy place for dogs
Reema was in her element every time she goes to the beach. There is nothing about it that she hates. She loves running in the sand and taking a dip in the cool water. There were also tons of pooches there that she could play with.
Ever since she developed back problems, she could only take short walks. She feels a lot of discomforts and she tires easily too. Walking to the beach was not an option anymore. The dog’s weekly visit came to a halt when the family car broke down.
There was no way for Reema to go to the beach anymore. She was too heavy for them to carry that far.
Generous man
Suzanne felt sad for her beloved pet. She knew how happy she got when she was at the beach, and now she is missing out on it. So she decided to go to social media for help.
A kind taxi diver named Paul Dodds came across the post and immediately got in touch with Suzanne. He has always loved dogs and was touched by Reema’s story. He offered his services, and the dog owner was more than happy to accept them.
They now go to the beach once a week so that Reema can still enjoy her favorite place. The old pooch might not be able to run and play much with the other dogs anymore, but being there makes so much difference to her life.
